As a family of four, we recently enjoyed a stay at the Country House in Tuscany, which turned out to be quite nice, even with a few quirks. While the apartment felt a bit outdated - the kitchen lacked essential cookware and safety of the gas stove was a concern - the hotel did foster a welcoming atmosphere for our kids. One of the highlights was the stunning infinity pool, where we ended many afternoons while soaking in the sunset views. It was a joy watching the children splash about and enjoy the warm weather - a real treat for a family escape! We also discovered an adorable winery just down the road, where we indulged in a good tasting menu while the kids played happily outside. Although not much in the immediate area, we appreciated the peaceful surroundings which allowed us to recharge. A short drive took us to nearby attractions, including a lovely seaside adventure. All in all, despite some minor setbacks in the apartment, the charm of the countryside and the friendly hosts made it a worthwhile family experience for those looking to unwind away from the tourist spots. Would we recommend it? Definitely, for families willing to embrace the adventure!
